Tomeko Brown – Award‑Winning Children’s Author | An Instrument for Florenda
I’m the award-winning author ofAn Instrument for Florenda, which has been recognized by the Mom’s Cho, Royal, and the Florida Authors and Publishers Association. My parenting insights have been featured on platforms like Parents.com and The Bump. In addition, my work is available in libraries across the U.S. and internationally, and the second edition is included in Wake County Public Library’s JFIC Stand Alone collection.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from East Carolina University. I also hold a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology from West Texas A&M University. Additionally, I have a Certificate in Early Childhood Services.
The biggest reward is hearing how readers connect with the characters in my book. I especially value how children relate to the characters.
